On January 28 FUSE team members held a workshop organised by ÖFSE in cooperation with the Centre for Environment Education (CEE). A summary of this workshop and an update of FUSE project activities are in the summary document. A series of presentations were given including a presentation by Dr. Himanshu Kulkarni Founding Trustee and Executive Director of Advanced Center for Water Resources Development and Management (ACWADAM). His presentation addressed groundwater in Pune and presents the pressing problem of groundwater depletion in the city. The presentation given by the FUSE team members Dr. Anjuli Jain Figueroa (Stanford University), Dr. Mikhail Smilovic (IIASA) and Raphael Karutz (UFZ) about the FUSE project and preliminary results can be found here (ppt - with animations) and here (pdf - smaller with no animations).
