Jordan's Ministry of Water and Irrigation endorses the FUSE PROJECT

We are pleased to announce that Secretary-General Eng. Ali Subah  of the Jordanian Minister of Water and Irrigation has endorsed the FUSE Project research effort, stating,

"On behalf of the Ministry of Water and  Irrigation, I write to express support for your research effort, the FUSE Project (Food-water-energy for Urban Sustainable Environments).  We are pleased that the Belmont Forum and Sustainable Urban Global Initiative have decided to support this important effort of an esteemed group of professors from universities and institutes around the world to study water-food-energy management issues in Jordan with a focus on Amman.  MWI is committed to advancing scientific research and knowledge that can aid in evaluating water management strategies in the country and lead to innovative policy evaluation approaches in other countries as well.  Toward this aim, we are in support of your work to construct and develop a novel, integrated multi-agent modeling tool for evaluating water-food-energy policy inventions in Jordan. We understand that the tool will be used to evaluate various interventions ranging from institutional innovations to supply enhancements, and we are quite interested in the insights the modelling analysis can provide to improve Jordan’s water security and sustainability."
